Winter storm safety | Video Winter weather is dangerous for both humans and animals. Stay warm and shelter inside unless absolutely necessary. Here's what you need to know. Ahead of a nor'easter that threatens to drop more than a foot of snow over northeast New Jersey late Monday night into Tuesday morning, Gov. Phil Murphy has declared a State of Emergency for five of the state's northernmost counties.
